We are so gald to have found our friends at Mactrek. These two American girls had an incredible time here in Nepal. Our trek round the Annapurna circuit was truly spectacular because of our trusty guide Dambar. Becase we had such a wonderful guide we were able to mingle with the locals and I mean really mingle – Dancing and singing nepali music , drinking raksi and we were also invited into several kitchen for warmth by the fine and traditional nepali food. We have had a brilliant time in Kathmandu with our friends at Mactrek. Thank you all friends in Mactrek for everything. We will be back.

From Pernille , Martin, Erik and Trine from Denmark. We went on a two week camping trek in Annapurna region with Narayan and Mactrek. It was THE BEST and we can only recommend it. This trek was the first thing we did here in Nepal and these people really gave us a good impression of the country and it's people, and we have really found a good friend in Narayan. We will definitely use Mactrek again when we return to Nepal and give it our warmest recommendations.

I would like to express my whole hearted thanks and gratitude for the trek you organized for Ruth and myself. I would especially recommend our guide Maila Tamang who was disciplined, diligent, honest and hardworking. We were particularly impressed by the way he was always keen to help us both out, under unforeseen and difficult circumstances, often doing for more than was his share of tasks and chores. I hope that if we ever save up enough pounds to come back to Nepal again, then it would be well spent trekking with the aid of Mactrek and its disciplined and friendly personnel. Thanks loads.

Overall each and every one of us from Singapore enjoyed the 7 days trek despite of the rain, cold weather and leeches. The duration of the trek was just right with enough rest and time to interact with each other and locals. As one of us said "The trek was good, Guide wonderful and porter marvelous". Again I must say, we have enjoyed over selves tremendously and the guide and porter we had, had given us a lot of information about their experience in the past. Thanks.
